Chinese Zodiac Collection

My first collection exploring stainless steel and laser-cut drawings, temporarily exhibited at Slipstitch Gallery. Inspired by Chinese culture and the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac, each piece represents an animal within the repeating 12-year calendar cycle.

The collection also draws from the traditional story of the Great Race, where the Jade Emperor called the animals to race across a river, and their order of arrival determined their place in the zodiac. This project became an early exploration of translating my drawings into metal, light, and three-dimensional form.
